Na última terça feira, 17, mais uma notícia envolvendo parlamentares maranhenses se junta ao pacote de informações que se entrega ao eleitor, para ajuda-lo ou dificultá-lo na hora de escolher os candidatos de suas cidades.
Esta última denúncia, da Procuradoria-Geral da República (PGR) apresentada ao Supremo Tribunal Federal, tem como foco três deputados federais do PL. Além de um deputado de Sergipe integram a lista os deputados maranhenses Josimar Maranhãozinho (PL-MA) e Pastor Gil (PL-MA), acusados dos crimes de corrupção passiva e organização criminosa.
O relator do caso é no STF é o ministro Cristiano Zanin. Os autos da denúncia são sigilosos, porém o ministro já determinou a intimação dos acusados para apresentar defesa prévia. O caso será julgado pela Primeira Turma do STF, que pode, ou não, transformar os alvos em réus.
Esse caso envolve o envio o envio de emendas dos parlamentares para a Prefeitura de São José de Ribamar. Segundo a PGR, de acordo com o inquérito da PF, dos recursos enviados para o município, os acusados esperavam a devolução de R$ 1,6 milhão, correspondendo a um percentual das emendas enviadas.
No total, o deputado Josimar Maranhãozinho foi indiciado pela PF em três inquéritos diferentes. Ainda há outras duas investigações na PGR para análise sobre eventual apresentação de denúncia, que também envolvem suspeitas de desvios em emendas parlamentares.
Influências e campanhas no interior do estado: Pinheiro
O deputado Josimar Maranhãzinho é uma das grandes lideranças do estado, e mantem um grande número de prefeitos aliados. O deputado trabalha pela eleição de muitos candidatos do seu grupo. Mas o bloqueio de emendas parlamentares advindas do STF, pelas mãos do ministro Flávio Dino, trouxe muitas dificuldades.
Um dos apoiados por Josimar é o candidato João Batista Segundo, no município de Pinheiro. O candidato há alguns dias vem tendo dificuldades de continuar a campanha e sofrendo perdas contínuas de apoio popular demonstrado em pesquisas.
As dificuldades também são financeiras. Segundo comentários em grupos de jornalismo, uma das perdas foi o time de comunicação da campanha que abandonou o candidato por falta de pagamento. Tanto é, que na reta final da campanha, Segundo andava em busca de um novo coordenador de comunicação para a campanha.
Além de ter o nome associado ao deputado Josimar Maranhãzinho que recebe no meio da campanha as denúncias de corrupção da Procuradoria Geral da República e da Polícia Federal, o candidato está no centro de uma investigação do Grupo de Atuação Especial de Combate ao Crime Organizado (GAECO), unidade do Ministério Público que atua no combate ao crime organizado.
Relembre o caso
O caso envolve uma ação de improbidade administrativa por irregularidades num processo de licitação onde a empresa a JB construções LTDA, de propriedade de João Batista Segundo seria beneficiaria de um contrato no valor de R$ 2 800 000,00 (dois milhões e oitocentos mil reais), no município de Chapadinha.
O inquérito aberto em 2023 constatou que a empresa JB Construções Ltda cometeu irregularidades. Além de não apresentar as exigências legais como apresentação de orçamentos, previsão de recursos, o Ministério Público detectou deficiência na publicação do edital, não encontrou provas da divulgação do edital e muito menos o resultado da licitação.
Com o correr da investigação foram detectadas outros casos com o mesmo tipo de fraudes nas cidades de Pedro do Rosário, Zé Doca e Maranhãozinho, municípios com forte atuação do deputado Josimar do Maranhãozinho.
Outro lado
O deputado federal Josimar Maranhãozinho (PL-MA) emitiu uma nota oficial nesta quarta-feira, 18, em resposta à denúncia apresentada pela Procuradoria-Geral da República ao Supremo Tribunal Federal.
Na nota, o deputado afirma que não há provas concretas que sustentem a denúncia e que sua defesa foi desconsiderada ao longo das investigações e que finalmente terá a oportunidade de esclarecer os fatos e comprovar sua inocência.
